Dani Sánchez (from Azul y Garanza in Navarra) founded DiT Celler. The vineyards, Mas d'En Fornós and Guiamets, surround the mountains of the Llaberia Natural Park in Priorat. The local name for the soil type is "pinyolencs", which contain small stones and are rich in calcium, which gives acidity and freshness to the wines. The weather can be hot in the summer, but every summer afternoon the temperature drops due to a cool breeze coming from the Mediterranean.
